This hourly position starts at $23 - $28 per hour, depending on your experience, plus a monthly incentive.

To be a good fit for the Admissions Advisor opportunity, you will have:
  • A high school diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of mental health or hospital admissions experience required; 5+ years of experience preferred
  • 3+ years of pre-admission assessment experience required; 5+ years of experience preferred
  • 3+ years of experience managing clinician-based referrals and clinician engagement required
  • 3+ years of experience reviewing and speaking to private insurance and other financial obligations, with high proficiency with out-of-network services required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in SalesForce and EMR software, preferably KIPU, required
  • Bilingual Spanish and English is highly preferred
  • Professional level phone etiquette with the ability to provide empathy and understanding
  • A genuine desire to work with the population of clients we serve
  • Experience with high-touch, high-need clientele
  • Ability to exercise professional judgment in performing day-to-day activities, ensuring adherence to Centered Health policies and procedures

Reporting to the Admissions Supervisor, you will coordinate admissions for all incoming and potential clients, and answer all of their questions throughout the admissions process. This will include ensuring a match between the potential client's needs and the various Centered Health facilities, services and programs. 

You also will act as a liaison between the client and the facility they will be admitted to, ensuring the client is well-versed in the rules of the program and treatment expectations. The position requires strong written and verbal communication skills as you will be in constant contact with the client and the client’s family and/or guardians.

Your specific responsibilities will include:
  • Answering phone calls for referral to treatment.
  • Obtaining personal information from a caller for financial obligations, medical/mental health necessities, legal obligations, family/social support, and employment/employer information.
  • Interacting with individuals who may have mental health issues and their families. 
  • Completing all intake documents, and preparing and developing treatment file at time of patient admission.
