The is a role for a consultative sales professional with outstanding relationship building skills

To be a good fit for the Community Partnerships Director opportunity, you will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or similar field Is preferred.
  • Sales / business development / account management experience including:
    • 2+ years of experience in business development in behavioral/mental health is preferred.
    • Proven track record developing new business and referrals. 
    • Extensive experience in creating, maintaining and delivering on marketing strategies to meet objectives. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and verbal and written communication skills; experience with communication principles, practices, and techniques applicable to a healthcare environment. 
  • Organized and reliable with outstanding customer service and presentation skills; ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); Internet research; CRM software, ideally Salesforce.  Quick question for you - click here

  • Solid network of healthcare-based relationships in settings including Hospitals, Facilities, Clinics, Colleges and Universities in Southern California is highly preferred. 
You'll be seated in our corporate location in Culver City but we anticipate that you'll visit other Centered Health locations and work in the field (primarily Los Angeles and Ventura counties) 3+ days per week. 

Additional work-related requirements:
  • Activities require a significant amount of sitting at the office, at work desks, and in front of a computer monitor. 
  • Must be able to lift and carry light objects and parcels as an incidental part of the job.
  • Regularly required to verbally communicate, listen, and give presentations as needed.

As Community Partnerships Director, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with our existing partners as well as creating and developing new relationships with future partners that will garner clients for our centers. Our partners include hospitals, facilities, EAP, clinicians, alumni, colleges and universities. You will report to the Vice President of Marketing and work closely with Admissions and the Executive Directors of our adolescent and adult treatment centers.

In this role, you’ll continually use your interpersonal and strategic planning skills to identify market strategy, build and deepen professional relationships and optimize potential opportunities to increase Centered Health’s reach. As our Community Partnerships Director, you must ably manage a varied and challenging workload and work well alone, in a team and with supervisors. You will work in different environments, primarily making daily phone calls from our office, spending time on the ground within communities, and visiting our treatment centers.

Specifically, you will:
  • Strategically develop and execute monthly, quarterly and annual performance objectives for target markets. 
  • ​Identify decision-makers in the target markets and reach out to establish those key relationships. 
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with key decision-makers to uncover needs, address barriers to treatment and create community partnerships. 
  • Plan and execute territory routing to balance new and existing relationships. 
  • Plan and execute presentations, customizing them to the target audience. 
  • Document meaningful activity regarding decision-makers and opportunities in the CRM database; develop a strong pipeline.
  • Effectively establish, develop, build, and maintain new relationships with partners to identify clients in need of treatment. 
  • Design, implement and manage strategies for referral source market penetration.
  • Execute a strategic call schedule to maintain relationships with current and new/prospective referral sources. 
  • Report on performance against KPI’s on a weekly basis. 
  • Perform other activities as needed and assigned (i.e., community events and outreach, event planning and management, etc.)
